In most of the countries, May the 1st is widely celebrated. In the Nordics though, they do it the evening before!
It’s called the Walpurgis night and it’s a night of celebration, bonfires, no social distancing and partying.
This year, it’s gonna be different. But Valborg (in Swedish) or Vappu (in Finnish) is always a time of joy.
It may be more virtual and with more social distancing this year, but nonetheless it’s going to be celebrated in a new way.
